One of our masterpieces, a Buddha Head handmade from sandstone by artist R. Mani.  This particular piece is done in Gandhara style, an art technique that emerged during Kushan dynasty. This style was strongly influenced by Hellenic style and is famous for use of ancient Greek techniques. Looking at Buddha’s youthful face, curly hair, his features resemble closely those of Greek and Roman Gods.

Buddha Heads are symbolic of the vast wealth of knowledge Buddha possessed being the awakened one.  Buddha is a universal symbol of love, harmony and inner peace. Commonly in Asia, Buddha Head sculptures are known to be one of the most popular iconographic representations of Buddha and his characteristics.

Sandstone sculptures are perfect for outdoor settings. It will make a stand out addition to any garden, terrace or patio.
