Sandstone is a popular Indian stone used for centuries in the carving of exquisite statues of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Historically, sandstone is famously used for the construction of ancient Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. The Great Stupa built by King Ashoka around 3rd century BC is among the oldest sandstone structures of India.

Sandstone stands as most popular and durable sculpting mediums. Enduring the test of time and harsh Indian climate, sandstone sculptures are perfect for both outdoor and indoor settings.

A classic medium choice, white marble and granite has been a favourite medium by the most accomplished sculptors in history. Such sculptures are both timeless and elegant. They will elevate the space of any interior. These mediums are also known to be durable and resistant, making these sculptures perfect to be placed outside in gardens and balconies.

Historically precious stones have been used in sculpting to glorify the image of sacred deities and Buddha. Kings often commissioned their craftsmen to design exquisite statues and ornaments from precious stones, to be donated as gifts to temples and monasteries. Their collection features exquisite statues from such gemstones as Tiger Eye, Labradorite, Jade, Moonstone, Lapiz Lazuli, Aquamarine to name a few. These high grade gems are often sourced from India, Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Brazil and Pakistan.

Labradorite stone is known for it’s protective abilities as it strengthens one’s aura and guards from negative energy. It is also a gem commonly used for spiritual guidance as it strengthens our six sense and intuition.

Tiger eye is famously known to help build courage by releasing fear and anxiety. It is a stone that establishes mental clarity and good judgement by mastering emotions. Tiger eye can also help finding mental equilibrium and harmony.

Rose Quartz has been associated by healers with properties such as lowering stress, as well as clearing out anger or jealousy. Known as a romance stone it is famous for radiating energy of love and passion. Depending on the intention you project, it is told that Rose Quartz crystal has power to strengthen bonds and re-ignite passion, heal broken hearts and even attract new love.

Clear quartz is considered a healing and detoxifying crystal used since ancient time by healers and shamans. These crystals are energetically cleansing and protective. Healing vibrations of crystal has the power to heal our chakras, release blockages in our centres and balance emotions.
