Relax and unwind as you get lost in the dots with our mindful mandala workshop!
Lead by artist Martina Kostov, this workshop is enjoyable and perfect for beginners and artists of all levels. She will be guiding you step-by-step through the creative process using acrylic paint. It is considered to be a therapeutic art form that reflects the artist's soul. Each time we paint a mandala we inadvertently put the current state of our souls on the canvas, so there is an invitation for some self-reflection here.
The mandala's purpose is to help transform ordinary minds into enlightened ones. Painting a mandala can help you integrate seemingly separate or opposing things into one unified field, emanating from the same central point. The process of painting is both therapeutic and fun! Dot mandala paintings are done with the technique of pointillism — putting thousands of coloured dots on a canvas. Each painting ends up looking totally different, you just cannot predict how it will turn out!
Martina is the owner and teacher of Paint With Me, a business she started in the first lockdown with two other artists. It is her way of expressing her passion for people, events and art.
