Collection: K.G. Narendrababu 'Tree of Life' 2025

The Tree of Life, a universal symbol of the cycle of life, stands as a living bridge between matter and spirit. In K.G. Narendrababu’s practice, this sacred symbol emerges as a central motif throughout his series of work, weaving tradition and memory into an endless tapestry of dreams. He draws influence from Indian traditional styles of painting, Hindu folklore, and local flora and fauna alongside the life of simple villagers.

The works of the artist are executed in various techniques—from rare traditional aari embroidery to acrylic painting and graphics. His playful, naive works are filled with subtle observations, boundless fantasy, and visual poetry.

The exhibition reveals the author’s vision of the world as a single living organism, in which every creature and form is in a state of harmony and interconnection. The Tree of Life is a contemplative space that invites the viewer to closely observe the dynamically unfolding plots of the artist’s dreams.
