Junko Azukawa is bringing her workshop back to Mystik River on the 12th of March 2023!
Join us for some "Sumi-e (Japanese ink art) and create some art to take home. You will have full experience of this unique meditative art form, make your own ink, learn how to use different ink tones and brush techniques to create some simple and expressive paintings such as bamboo, cherry blossoms, bird, Koi fish, mountains, etc. All the materials and Japanese tea will be provided :) "- Junko Azukawa
The workshop will be guided by Junko Azukawa. Junko is an established traditional Japanese calligraphy artist and teacher. Junko exhibits her Art around Melbourne as well as having her work displayed at the National Gallery of Victoria. She has taught children and adults the beauty of Japanese Calligraphy since 2008. So come on down and bring your friends for this wonderful experience.
