Collection: 'Ladakh: Race Against Time' by Aman Chotani

Mystik River Gallery is proud to present its first ever photography collection, as part of the exhibition 'Ladakh: Race Against Time' by Aman Chotani, showing Feb 24 - Mar 24, 2024.

One of the most acclaimed Indian travel and lifestyle photographers, Aman Chotani, best known for his tremendous project ‘The Last Avatar’, has released a series of works devoted to the northernmost region of India, Ladakh. The artist is exploring the culture of the region, formed by its unique nature and rich history, in the context of modern times and the continuity of traditions.

The exhibition invites viewers to contemplate the coexistence of humanity and nature frozen in the frame. This is an opportunity to see, through the lens of the artist, the colourful and varied mosaic of life within Ladakh. Chotani captured the inner beauty of the native people, overcoming the challenges of the time like “flowers growing on rocks.”
