Female figures, play a pivotal role in ancient Indian sculpture.  Such figures are often found decorating gates, panels and murals of ancient Indian temples. Female sculptures pay tribute to the physical and divine beauty of women, their feminine energy and sensuality. In India, images of women are symbolic of fertility and abundance of life.

K.Ravi - Andhra Pradesh, India

K. Ravi is yet another renowned artist in India, who received an award from Chief Minister of India. His mastership in sculpting can be captured in the level of details he puts in his art with semi-precious stones. The quality of his work with tiger eye, rose quartz, and labradorite stone is unparallel. Indeed each Buddha seems real.

PS: With all hand made stone and wood sculptures, there might be some natural erosion with cracks and spots, but that adds to the one of kind pieces that we sell here at Mystik River.
