    Indian Art & Indian Paintings

Shop from our range of unique Indian paintings and Indian artworks.

Our Brighton art gallery aims to present authentic contemporary paintings from international artists in Asia, Europe and Australia. We also pride ourselves on discovering emerging talents. Subjects range from traditional Indian artwork to whimsical depictions.

Spiritual themes include karma in the form of a karmic wand painting and the Three Points of Awareness symbol to indicate mindfulness. A Mexican sugar skull painting represents the connection that the living attempt with the dead on Mexico's Day of the Dead commemoration - the bright colours in the painting contrasting with the large background of more sombre hue for a striking effect. The stylised Cross My Heart painting also implements bright colours in addition to crossed feathers for emotional resonance. Two of our paintings convey the meaning of the cross of Christianity: ‘Awareness’ and ‘Benediction’. The first uses cool colours of pale blue and light green as a background that displays a multi-hued cross. The second displays a warm background colours of pink and yellow in a similarly coloured cross utilising brown, light blue and dark blue for a mosaic effect.

Indian paintings form the basis of our aesthetic, but we reach out to other themes too. Our gallery aims to promote new talent, cultural awareness as well as a sense of aesthetic.
