The Buddha Head is a popular representation of the Buddha and his characteristics. Statues of Buddha Heads are created to represent the vast wealth of knowledge he possessed, being the awakened one. The elongated earlobes represent the Buddha’s ability to hear or perceive reality as it is, and serve as a reminder of the renunciation of the wealth he was once weighed down by.

The artist's skill and technique allows for depiction of the Buddha in perfect form and absolute symmetry. A symmetry that defines a balance between Yin and Yang (feminine and masculine) energies. The artist sees the Buddha as a universal symbol of love, harmony and inner peace.

Blue Calcite is one of the most soothing stones to the emotional body. It softens the impact of stimuli, allowing those who are energetically sensitive to relax and screens out negative or unpleasant energies. It provides a ‘cocoon’ of gentle blue spiritual light which gradually wraps itself around the auric fields of those who are surrounded by this stone.
Blue Calcite also assists in creative energy and stimulates one's access to inspiration and self-expression.

Ram Kumar is the artist behind some of our most incredible masterpieces here at Mystik River Gallery. Ram Kumar’s sculptures are inspired by Indian and Tibetan Gods and Goddesses. Following on from his father Mr. Hanuman and grandfather, both accomplished artists in their time, Ram has continued the family tradition. Ram works predominantly with semi-precious stones and high grade crystals.
