A wonderfully crafted Labradorite Ganesha by artist Ram Kumar. This piece is small yet powerful, revealing Lord Ganesha through abstract forms and skilfully accentuating the mesmerising qualities of Labradorite. Lord Ganesh is a son of Lord Shiva and his wife, Goddess Parvati. Most prominently known as the remover of obstacles and bringer of good luck, Ganesha is also worshipped at the beginnings of rites and ceremonies, and before beginning a new chapter or venture in life.

About Labradorite

Beyond the beautiful form and features of this Buddha head is the mystical nature of the Labradorite gemstone. Labradorite is a celebrated stone, used for centuries by healers and shamans around the world for its powerful protective and healing properties, as well as its ability to heighten intuition and psychic abilities. Labradorite strengthens the aura and guards our bioenergetic field from negative energy. It is also a gem commonly used for spiritual guidance as it strengthens our "sixth sense" and intuition.

About the Artist - Ram Kumar

Ram Kumar is the artist behind some of our most incredible masterpieces here at Mystik River. Ram Kumar’s sculptures are inspired by Indian and Tibetan Gods and Goddesses. Following on from his father Mr. Hanuman and grandfather, both accomplished artists in their time, Ram has continued the family tradition.

Working predominantly with semi-precious stones and high grade crystals, his work focuses on Tibetan Buddha figures and Indian gods such as Ganesh, Shiva, Buddha, Laxmi and Tibetan Tara. His sculptures radiate grace and elegance as he mixes his art with some very high grade semi-precious gemstones such as Labradorite, Tiger’s Eye, Rose Quartz and Clear Quartz Crystal. His ability to refine the natural beauty of crystals and gems in his sculptures is unlike anything you will experience.
