Meditating Buddha - Dhyana Mudra
A statues of meditating Shakyamuni Buddha sitting in iconic dhyana mudra. This mudra is often practised by yogis during meditation, where one palm of a hand is place on top of another, in the centre above the knees. The gesture eases mediation and helps concentration, it symbolises perfect balance of energies within ourselves.
Buddha's robe has very detailed carving, showing a smaller Buddha carved outside - a beautiful reminder that each of us has potential reach Buddhahood. As Buddha once said "I didn't change, I just woke up".
Note: With all hand made stone and wood sculptures, there might be some natural erosion with cracks and spots, but that adds to the one of kind pieces that we sell here at Mystik River.
