GEOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Moonstone is a variety of feldspar, composed primarily of potassium aluminium silicate (KAlSi₃O₈), often with alternating layers of orthoclase and albite that create its signature optical effect known as adularescence. It has a Mohs hardness of 6 to 6.5, making it moderately durable but requiring some care to avoid scratches. Its specific gravity ranges from approximately 2.56 to 2.59. Moonstone typically forms in igneous rocks such as granite and pegmatites, where slow cooling allows its layered structure to develop. Major sources include Sri Lanka, India, Madagascar, Myanmar, and Tanzania.

It’s not mass produced, every piece gets lot of attention and goes through rigorous quality control. His healing wands are created in limited edition, with only a few released per year.
