Labradorite stone is famous all over the world for its fascinating colours, beauty and mystical properties. When exposed to light, this Buddha statue radiates magnificent shades of deep blue, green and golden.This game of colours is also known as Labradorescence and is unique to labradorite gem.
Buddha head sculptures are known to represent the vast wealth of knowledge possessed by the awakened one. Artist K. Ravi portrays Shakyamuni Buddha with his eyes semi-closed, in state of deep contemplation. His elongated ears reflect on Buddha’s wealthy past, as he wore heavy jewellery being a Prince. It is also a common Buddhist characteristic that symbolises longetivity. The ūrṇā , a circular dot on Buddha's forehead, is another key attribute that marks this as a depiction of Enlightened one and is symbolic of wisdom.

Ram Kumar is the artist behind some of our most incredible masterpieces here at Mystik River. Ram Kumar’s sculptures are inspired by Indian and Tibetan Gods and Goddesses. Following on from his father Mr. Hanuman and grandfather, both accomplished artists in their time, Ram has continued the family tradition.
Working predominantly with semi-precious stones and high grade crystals , his work focuses on Tibetan Buddha figures and Indian gods as Ganesh, Shiva, Buddha, Laxmi and Tibetan Tara. His sculptures radiate grace and elegance as he mixes his art with some very high grade semi-precious gemstones such as Labradorite, Tiger’s eye, Rose quartz and Clear Quartz Crystal. His ability to refine the natural beauty of crystals and gems in his sculptures is unlike anything you will experience.
