Mantra of Compassion (Om Mani Pad Me Hum)

The Mandala of Awaloketeshvara mantra (Om Mani Pädme Hum) holds a significant meaning. Each word represents the six Buddha's of the six realms. These words serve as objects of meditation. They are associated with Buddhist figures, whose qualities can be cultivated by the repetition of the relevant mantra.

Om helps you achieve perfection in the practice of generosity, Ma helps perfect the practice of pure ethics, Ni helps practice of tolerance and patience. Pä, is of perseverance, Me assists in the practice of concentration, and Hum helps achieve perfection in the practice of wisdom.

The outermost circle, resembling a ring of fire (the burning of ignorance) demonstrates the process of transformation that humans must undergo before entering the sacred territory within. The innermost ring is made of lotus leaves, signifying religious rebirth
