A divine creation by artist Ram Kumar, a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha carved entirely from magical Rose Quartz - the crystal of love. This masterpiece fuses Buddha's grace together with the delicate beauty of this crystal, achieving an ecstatic experience.

The intricate details of the work, representing Buddha on top of a lotus flower and in front of a Palm Tree Leaf. The lotus flower is not without significance. Both Hindu and Buddhist Art traditions regard the lotus as a symbol of purity, as it grows through dirty water, turning into a beautiful flower untouched by the mud. The lotus flower is thus an iconic symbol, that represents Shakyamuni's transcendence into Buddhahood, or Enlightenment.

Beyond the aesthetic and spiritual values, lies the unique properties of a Rose Quartz crystal. Known as a romance stone Rose quartz and the Buddha come together to form a divine link between the two worlds - the spiritual and physical.  Contemplating upon this sculpture one will feel an immense sense of bliss and love sink in.

Rose Quartz has been associated with properties such as lowering stress, as well as clearing out anger or jealousy. Known as a romance stone it is famous for radiating energies of love and passion. Depending on the intention you project, it is said that Rose Quartz crystal has the power to strengthen love bonds and re-ignite passion, heal broken hearts and even attract new love.

ABOUT ARTIST - Ram Kumar (Rajasthan, India)

Ram Kumar is the artist behind some of our most incredible masterpieces here at Mystik River. Ram Kumar’s sculptures are inspired by Indian and Tibetan Gods and Goddesses. Following on from his father Mr. Hanuman and grandfather, both accomplished artists in their time, Ram has continued the family tradition. Working predominantly with semi-precious stones and high grade crystals, his work focuses on Tibetan Buddha figures and Indian gods as Ganesh, Shiva, Buddha, Laxmi and Tibetan Tara. His sculptures radiate grace and elegance as he mixes his art with some very high grade semi-precious gemstones such as Labradorite, Tiger’s Eye, Rose Quartz and Clear Quartz Crystal.
